Initial research for Ironbound Foodscapes was conducted by Newest Americans Project Manager for Urban Landscape Dr. Sahar Hosseini and Rutgers-Newark Global Urban Studies doctoral students Gulse Eraydin and Thayane Bretas during an Ironbound neighborhood field school created and taught by Dr.Hosseini. We will be adding additional stories and content regularly. Please subscribe below to receive updates on new content for this and other Newest Americans projects.

This project has been made possible in part by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, and a Rutgers University-Newark Chancellor’s Seed Grant.
